A Unique Twist on Tower Defense and Bullet Heaven
What makes Heretic’s Fork so engaging is its fresh take on tower defense, blending in roguelike and bullet heaven mechanics to create a constantly evolving gameplay loop. At the start, you choose a character (or “employee”) with unique abilities, like Intern Ruby, who brings no bonuses, or Gilbo Gibbins, who adds a luck-based gambling mechanic for high-risk, high-reward plays. As waves of enemies attack, players place automated defenses to handle the mobs while strategically deploying cards to add traps, minions, and abilities to reinforce Hell’s defenses.
