London - 10th December 2021 – HyperX, the gaming peripherals team at HP Inc. and brand leader in gaming and esports, today announced the signing of British television presenter and renowned host in the world of video games, Julia Hardy for a minimum of 2 years. As part of the HyperX family, Hardy will exclusively use HyperX products in her personal content and join the HyperX Heroes. She will also star in multiple upcoming social activations and shows HyperX are looking to produce.
There is an aim to use HyperX resources to bring some of Hardy’s amazing ideas to life. Specifically in the world of health and fitness HyperX and Hardy have a shared passion, with the latter owning her own fitness brand, Game to Train. Through her YouTube channel and Game to Train's Instagram page, she posts her training regimes which are in the style of moves from popular games to make working out more fun. As an ambassador, Hardy will aim to explore new ways to get more gamers into physical fitness.
Hardy has been a staunch supporter of gaming as a force for good for many years now through her work as a host and journalist, particularly through raising awareness for women's treatment within the gaming community, which has previously been considered a toxic environment for women. Gaming as a force for good is a core principle for how HyperX operate, and runs through everything the company does, and Hardy will work as an ambassador to help carry this message for years to come.
“I’m really excited about the content and ideas we are going to realise together over the coming years,” said Julia Hardy, British television presenter and HyperX ambassador. “HyperX always have great ideas and I can’t wait to see how the next chapter is going to unfold working together.”
As a brand ambassador, HyperX will be providing Hardy with gaming headsets, keyboards, mice, mousepads, and microphones for her use, high quality products she will use for both her Twitch streaming and on her YouTube channel.
Christopher Pankhurst, EMEA’s esports and influencer lead at HyperX said: “We’ve worked with Julia on previous occasions, and we know there is a great synergy between both her and HyperX. As we are both passionate about gaming as a force for good we hope we can positively influence the gaming community in the years to come.”
