IIDEA ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF THE ITALIAN VIDEO GAME AWARDS 2024

Florence, 5 July 2024 – IIDEA, the Association representing the video game industry in Italy, is happy to announce the winners of the twelfth edition of the Italian Video Game Awards which took place last night at the Cinema La Compagnia, the Casa del Cinema of the Tuscany Region.

The awards ceremony was hosted by Giordana Moroni and Pierpaolo Greco, historical faces of the Italian media partner Multiplayer.it, who broadcast the event in live streaming exclusively on its Twitch channel.
During the evening, 6 dragon tail-shaped statuettes were awarded to the winners of this edition, selected by an international jury composed of Meg Clarke, Senior Game Scout, Team 17, Raphael Colantonio, President and Creative Director, WolfEye Studios, Diego Grammatico, Business Development Executive, Games London, Vincenzo Lettera, Editor in chief, Multiplayer.it. For the first time this year, the fifth juror was represented by the aggregate vote of IIDEA members.

On the stage of the event, in addition to the awards ceremony, space was also given to interviews with three Italian video game development studios who have titles coming out soon and who, together with Pierpaolo Greco, revealed some previews of their productions. Mauro Fanelli of Memorable Games, Matteo Sosso of Untold Games and Daniele Azara of Stormind Games took turns on the stage of the Italian Video Game Awards.

At the end of the ceremony, IIDEA launched a video - available on the association's YT channel - which contains a preview of all the titles in progress by the Italian development studios, whose publication is expected by the end of 2025.
