FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BLACKSBURG, Virginia – Feb. 1, 2024 – BorderLeap today revealed that its hit relaxing puzzle games, Illustrated and Patterned, will join the Apple Vision Pro launch lineup as native visionOS titles. Apple Vision Pro seamlessly blends digital content with the physical world and unlocks powerful spatial experiences. Play both titles starting Friday, Feb. 2 on Apple Vision Pro as part of the Apple Arcade subscription service.
Illustrated, the revelatory, relaxing puzzle game created with famous artists from around the world including Van Gogh, seamlessly blends art and story together. Artist’s puzzles are organized in beautiful virtual 3D galleries, each designed in a way that represents the unique style of the artist. Van Gogh Museum galleries even feel like you’re there in an actual museum. Paired with a custom soundtrack and Apple Vision Pro’s Spatial Audio, Illustrated offers an immersive, mesmerizing puzzle-building experience that is relaxing, and even a bit educational!
Patterned, the hit, satisfying zen puzzler, takes advantage of Apple Vision Pro to create incredible landscapes of seamless, repeating patterns. Watch as these patterns create endless vistas on Apple Vision Pro’s high-resolution micro-OLED displays, while Spatial Audio creates an all-encompassing ambient experience. Once a pattern is fully assembled, you’ll be rewarded visually as you are transported into a fully-immersive, 360° degree panorama of the seamless pattern.
BorderLeap will continue to update Illustrated and Patterned with post-launch updates planned that will introduce additional galleries, puzzles, and new immersive ways to play. Both titles support collaborative, real-time multiplayer with SharePlay on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac, with multiplayer support coming to each title on Apple Vision Pro in the near future.
“Apple Vision Pro is such a game changing experience once you have a chance to try it, and I felt a responsibility to bring a unique, immersive experience to each game to Apple Vision Pro,” said Nate Dicken, Founder at BorderLeap. “We try to make our games feel like a natural fit no matter how you play, and making these games feel at home on Apple Vision Pro was a priority for us.”
Illustrated and Patterned are available now as a part of the Apple Arcade subscription service for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and now Apple Vision Pro.
