Toronto, Canada / June 25th, 2024 - Indie game publisher Quill Yuri is proud to announce the Steam release of Spooktober Visual Novel 2023 runner-up, The Final Prize is Soup, developed by 4noki. The game will arrive on Steam for free on August 27th, 2024, with Steam achievements, Steam Cloud support, and behind-the-scenes developer notes!
The Final Prize is Soup, a horror yuri visual novel about a woman who wakes up after a disastrous break-up to find she's dead. Luckily, (or unluckily), she's been given a chance to turn back the clock and avert her death–as long as she can pass a series of death games in the afterlife.
Fans of horror or yuri visual novels fans can wishlist the game on Steam starting today to be notified when the game launches on August 27th! The game will be released for free in English on Windows and Linux/SteamOS.
Game Features:
Try to survive: Your choices could help Hailu continue her journey to 2 major endings or lead her to her death in many other endings.
Find love amidst the horror: Hailu finds herself curious about the enigmatic referee of the death game. At the same time, her ex-girlfriend is one of the contestants?! Despite the gruesome circumstances, Hailu might even find love!
Immersive narrative: At around 45,000 words and 3-6 hours of gameplay, The Final Prize is Soup is just the game for nostalgic fans of classic Japanese-style visual novels.
Vibrant and visceral visuals: Immerse yourself in the game, brought to life by anime-style character art, monster art, backgrounds, and CG illustrations.
