SEATTLE -- June 6, 2024 -- Quack attack! tinyBuild is egg-cited to invite you to join the ranks of the fearlessly feathered in DUCKSIDE’s new Steam open beta, taking flight today! Wet your beak in this persistent-world survival game and experience DUCKSIDE’s action-packed combo platter of PvP, PvE, crafting, base-building, and hat-wearing, weapon-wielding ducks!
After a highly successful beta period earlier this year that saw over 150,000 ducks honorably join the ranks of the bravely billed, DUCKSIDE’s latest beta introduces a duckload of new content for players to discover. To celebrate the start of this new beta, players can use the in-game chat command "/GetHatForBeta" for a Rubber Ducky hat!
New Open Beta Content:
New Structures to Raid: Two new defensive structures have landed on the island: the ship port and missile silo. While heavily guarded by - ugh, humans - both feature valuable rewards for those who can take them down.
Explosive Ammo: Avian researchers have come together to master explosive ammunition in the name of unparalleled destruction!
New Base Fortifications: The ducks have developed new sturdy defensive elements for their bases, including the aesthetically pleasing roof latch and triangle foundation.
Find the Stone Ducks: Mysterious duck-shaped obelisks have appeared on the island! Rumors say true duck warriors can pay homage to them to gain powerful advantages…
Peace & Doves (PvE Servers): Some servers will be available with a focus on dismantling the featherless’ control of the archipelago - there will be no duck-on-duck violence allowed here.
