Windsor, England - October 1st 2004JOYTECH Europe Ltd, a division of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO) and one of Europe's largest designers and manufacturers of third party video game peripherals, today announced the appointment of Tim Brion as Managing Director, effective October 2004.
Tim Brion, currently serving as International Sales Director for JOYTECH, will replace current Managing Director Lee Guinchard, who as President of JOYTECH will be relocating in October 2004 to New York, JOYTECH's North American headquarters.
Tim Brion, who will be reporting to Lee Guinchard, commented on his new appointment, "This is an exciting era for our company, and I'm honored to accept this unique challenge. JOYTECH's UK team is among the most talented and dedicated in the industry today, with each department running efficiently and towards a common goal. Our efforts over the past eighteen months have afforded Lee the opportunity to expand our business further with his new position in New York, which we believe will be very beneficial to the company's sustained growth. With our UK staff bolstered in recent months, we remain focused on providing unparalleled service to our customer base across Europe, a territory which still holds significant potential for expansion."
Lee Guinchard commented on his new role within the group, "This move marks a significant milestone in the history of our company. Since 1996, we have grown this business into Europe's premier supplier of third party peripherals. While we believe our success is well deserved, there is still much to do, and so my efforts are best focused on growing the JOYTECH brand into a leading firm internationally. I firmly believe that we have the potential to replicate our considerable European achievements across North America and beyond, and working alongside Take-Two New York will afford us the resources and support needed to strengthen JOYTECH's presence across this important territory. JOYTECH's UK team continues to prove a robust and industry leading force who I expect will continue to flourish under the guidance of Tim Brion."
