Sunderland, Thursday 5th December, 2024 - British Esports, the national esports federation for the United Kingdom, is pleased to announce a return to the world's leading EdTech show, Bett UK at Excel London, from 22nd January to 24th January 2025.
As Bett’s official partner for the Esports @ Bett Arena, British Esports will once again take centre stage to showcase the rapidly evolving world of competitive gaming and its impact on education.
Bett UK, the global hub for EdTech, annually attracts over 30,000 educators, innovators, and thought leaders, as well as 600+ exhibitors offering cutting-edge educational solutions.
The Esports @ Bett Arena, powered by British Esports, will offer a packed schedule of talks, panels, hands-on workshops and live esports tournaments featuring Rocket League and other popular esports games.
This dedicated esports space will provide educators, policymakers, and educational institutions with practical guidance on integrating esports into the classroom and developing esports facilities.
It will also explore how developing an esports curriculum and enrichment offer alongside an innovative pedagogical approach can enhance student engagement and foster essential transferable skills like teamwork, leadership and critical thinking.
Visitors to Esports @ Bett can expect key insights from British Esports' leadership team, including Chester King (President), Dave Martin (Senior Vice President), Tom Dore (Vice President), and Kalam Neale (Head of Education) along with contributions from a range of key partners including Pearson, Leadership Skills Foundation, College of Esports and RUCKUS Networks.
Dedicated sessions will highlight how esports is transforming education throughout the UK, emphasising the abundance of career pathways as well as the social and developmental benefits esports affords young people.
In addition to thought-provoking sessions, Esports @ Bett will showcase some of the finest esports talent from schools and colleges across the UK, competing in British Esports’ Student Champs.
