FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hamburg, Germany, December 22, 2021 - Ever since the original Early Access release of cyubeVR (pronounced “Cube VR”) in January 2018, cyubeVR has received constant updates improving every aspect of the game. With the release of Update 49, the game is getting a completely new control scheme, making the controls significantly easier to learn for new players and way more convenient to use for existing players who have already spent hundreds of hours in the game.
One significant improvement of the new control scheme is that all essential controls for building and tool selection are now ambidextrous and available on both hands, through a very convenient radial menu. This introduces the new ability to do dual-wielded block placement and easy dual-wielded tool usage for twice the building speed and fun! It also means left-handed players can now select everything as easily on the left hand as on the right hand, making the game finally the same enjoyable for left-handed players as it is for right-handed players.
This update also adds Nvidia DLSS support to cyubeVR. The newly added DLSS support allows players using supported Nvidia RTX GPUs to benefit from improved performance, a sharper image, or both, depending on their exact setup and settings.
The update announcement for Update 49 of cyubeVR, with the full list of all changes, improvements, and bugfixes can be found on Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/619500/view/5615423875528336210
cyubeVR is the leading VR voxel crafting/building game on Steam, designed from the ground up to deliver the most immersive VR exploration, crafting, and building experience in a unique, beautiful infinite procedurally generated world. Often praised for being one of the most visually impressive VR games, in part thanks to a focus on implementing many optimizations allowing for an impressive near-infinite view distance in the game, over the past few years, cyubeVR has gathered a strong community of players around it, with “Very Positive” reviews on Steam and a Discord community of over 3000 players who influence and shape the development of the game a lot through their feedback.
cyubeVR is available on Steam, supporting all major VR headsets and having four individually designed control schemes for Valve Index Controllers, Oculus Touch Controllers, Windows Mixed Reality Controllers, and the old HTC Vive Controllers, making sure that every player has the best possible experience with the game. cyubeVR was also among the first games to fully support the Index Controller finger tracking.
As part of the Steam Winter Sale starting today, cyubeVR will also be 25% off on Steam.
