Maplers Gathered on Twitch and YouTube to Celebrate The Legendary MapleStory Franchise With Announcements, Giveaways, and Interactive Events
MapleStory Update Announced During Event, With Tera Burning and Burning World Enhancements, Maple Live Events, and New Anima Mage Character - Lara!
LOS ANGELES - November 15, 2021 - MapleStory, and MapleStory M, the popular free-to-play global MMORPGs from Nexon, celebrated MapleStory Fest on November 13, 2021, in an all-digital event with major game announcements including news surrounding the latest updates for MapleStory and MapleStory M, new online merchandise from Champion, the long-awaited addition of MapleStory's iconic music to popular music services, the arrival of MapleStory on GeForce Now cloud gaming service, plus an all new playable class, Anima Mage Lara the Earthseer!
During the event, fans were able to interact with host Jimmy Wong and engaged with other Maplers as well as with members of Bean Brigade, a dedicated community of MapleStory influencers, through Discord’s live community feature. The 95 minute virtual event featured game announcements, trivia, and exclusive rewards for both MapleStory and MapleStory M, as well as Fan Art Showcase, FashionStory Contest and Low Budget Cosplay Challenge.
Host Jimmy Wong surprised MapleStory Fest attendees with another major announcement, revealing that 13 albums of MapleStory in-game soundtracks are now available on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and Amazon Music services for Maplers to enjoy.
In addition, Nexon announced the arrival of MapleStory on Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service allowing Maplers to play on any device, anywhere - including on MacOS for the first time.
Last but not least, new merchandise arrivals to the Nexon online store were also featured during the event, including a limited drop of Champion clothing hoodies and tees.
MapleStory M also announced the arrival of Pathfinder class coming to the mobile MMORPG in December with a pre-registration event after its November 17 update. Pathfinder is a nomad under a deadly curse, using her ancient bow and the shadowy power of the relic to unleash devastating attacks.
As part of its winter content schedule, MapleStory announced a major update arriving on November 17, that brings a host of new content and overall improvements to the game including Maple Live Events, Tera Burning Plus and Burning World enhancements, and the new character Anima mage, Lara the Earthseer.
Maple Live Events: Players can complete daily, weekly, and monthly missions to collect Pink and Black beans with various rewards based on their Creator Rank that feature game enhancements, growth and cosmetic items.
Lara, Anima Mage: A member of the Grandis’ Anima race, Lara uses their power to commune with Earth Spirits allowing them the ability to learn the location of Dragon Veins, where spirits gather. Lara becomes available in the game on December 1.
Burning World and Tera Burning Plus: Burning World and Tera Burning Plus events continue to support speedy player growth, allowing players to create and designate burning characters who will gain 1+2 levels each time they level up all the way to Lv. 200.
Better Maple: To make a better MapleStory experience, the latest update has also made additional improvements that decrease death penalty durations, increase pet loot ranges and pet auto buff slots, added an inventory slot lock feature, and more.
