Missed the Eclipse this week? Train Sim World 4 has you covered

A solar eclipse, whether partial or full, is a pretty rare event, so to miss one is always disappointing. The partial eclipse seen on April 8th was a once in every 18 months occasion – and that’s assuming you could actually see it for the clouds. For those lucky enough to be situated in the USA, Monday’s lunar event was far easier to see.


These beautiful screenshots from Train Sim World 4 show just how lovely the eclipse looked on the Sherman Hill route in Wyoming and on the Long Island Rail Road in New York thanks to Dovetail Games’ proprietary TOD4 lighting system. Players with any recent USA Train Sim World 4 route can change their time/date settings and witness the eclipse for themselves.

 

Long Island Rail Road is coming 30th April 2024, all other routes available now on Steam, the Epic Games Store PlayStation®Store, and Microsoft Store.
