Playdigious Originals :

Paris, France, November 20th - Playdigious, the French indie video game publisher, is pleased to announce Mari Quinto (Lumi and the Great Big Galaxy) and David Thor Fjalarson (Dead Cells) are joining the creative cast of their upcoming musical turn-based RPG  Fretless - The Wrath of Riffson. To celebrate this, the game demo will be back on Steam for a limited amount of time.

Fretless is a pixel-art journey set in the vibrant and diverse musical rock world inspired by musician and content creator Rob Scallon. This RPG adventure with turn-based combat is set to launch in 2024, with more than 40,000 wishlists on Steam already. In Fretless players will go on a quest to restore harmony in an off-tuned, corrupted world, currently endangered by the tyrannical Rick Riffson, the boss of Super Metal Records.

The game invites players to explore a whimsical yet dangerous musical world, where every flower jingles, rocks really do rock, and beach waves carry their own melody. Players use a deck-building system to fight foes in rhythmic, turn-base battles. Whether they prefer a high-damage build, devastating musical effects, life-stealing combos, or even random chaos, Fretless allows endless arrangements to play with.
