The GameHunters team is thrilled to announce the latest Gunsmith Simulator update, introducing weapon customization mechanics. The creators also want to extend their heartfelt thanks to the community for their participation in playtests and for the valuable feedback, which has been an invaluable source of inspiration!
Custom Wood - “Hardwood”
In this update, the team introduces a new feature that allows players to use various types of wood, belonging to the so-called "hardwood." It's a carefully curated selection of wood species dedicated to specialized gunsmithing tasks. The available options include popular varieties such as oak, birch, and other exotic species.
New Techniques - Checkering and Staining
The latest update opens the door to experiments with two innovative techniques: checkering and staining. Checkering, the art of cutting patterns on the weapon grip, not only enhances visual appeal but also improves grip. Specially adapted checkering tools enable precise achievement of unique effects. Below is an illustration demonstrating how this technique works.
And now, staining! It's not just a change in the color of the wood but also an art of highlighting natural characteristics, creating a true masterpiece. The effects of this process are showcased in the following graphic.
