A New Cross-Platform RPG

TOKYO – December 16, 2021 – NEXON Co., Ltd. (Nexon) (3659.TO), a global leader in Virtual Worlds, today announced that a new cross-platform PRG, CounterSide is now available for PC and mobile for Japanese players. CounterSide is a free-to-play RPG featuring more than 100 characters voiced by over 75 voice actors, in a highly immersive Virtual World where humanity is threatened by an “erosion phenomenon.”

The theme song of the CounterSide was performed by a popular Japanese voice actress, Nana Mizuki. The main characters are voiced by popular voice actors such as Jun Fukuyama and Yoko Hikasa, and over 75 other gorgeous voice actors.
In 2044, an "Erosion phenomenon" from the "CounterSide" Underworld invades the real “Norm Side”. Players assume the role of president for a private military company and command characters called “counters” who have extraordinary abilities to fight against an “erosive body” threatening the world.
By celebrating the release in Japan, CounterSide promotional items will be sold at the one of the largest semi-annual doujinshi fairs, “New Comic Market 99” in Tokyo on December 30th and 31st.
