Players across games can join in co-operative gameplay, earning rewards for their favourite Papaya Play games

Vancouver – Papaya Play, the online PC gaming platform, is celebrating the holidays by giving it players the unprecedented chance to join together beyond the individual titles in its library, and to earn rewards customized to each player’s Papaya Play title of choice.
In the spirit of the season, a bonus game cash offer is in effect. While the platform-wide event is active, the first game cash purchases made by each account will receive a 100% bonus – receiving twice as much cash as they normally would for that transaction. This promotion will last for the full duration of the web game event – from December 16th to December 31st.
The web game itself – Papaya Hot and Cold – will pit all participants into the same arena, where they must work together to nudge the hapless PawPaw forward, step by step, into the safe area, without overstepping. The web game’s visual style, as well as the slow buildup of tension, bear a striking (and quite probably intentional) resemblance a certain recent cephalopod-themed media program.
While co-ordinating with other players in a brand-new game may take some getting used to, players need not worry about losing. Every move they make in Papaya Hot and Cold will pay off with in-game items and bonuses, for a specific Papaya Play title that each player selects upon first accessing the web game. Of course, being part of a winning round will pay off even more, with each participating player in a winning round receiving an additional bonus in their selected title.
Even a run of bad luck won’t spoil the fun, as the victory prize will be paid out to a player who participates in five losing rounds in a row.
Each round of Papaya Hot and Cold lasts a maximum of twenty minutes, so it’s easy for anyone to jump in at their convenience, and just slow enough to make things interesting.
