Jolt | London - 4th April 2005 - Jolt Online Gaming, Europe's largest independent online gaming network, is pleased to announce a partnership with Future's sector-leading PC games magazine, PC Gamer for the provision of 10 Jolt online games servers.
The servers, which will go into action next month, will enable PC Gamer's editorial team and their readers to challenge each other in popular online PC titles such as Battlefield Vietnam and Counter-Strike: Source.
Backed by Jolt's world-class support team, the high-spec servers will be fully equipped to deal with the latest online games and mods, chosen each month by the PC Gamer team. The deal further demonstrates a growing trend towards online gaming in the mainstream as reflected in the editorial of PC Gamer, and places Jolt in an even more enviable position as a key provider of online gaming services.
"PC Gamer's magazine content has always reflected the thriving online gaming scene, but now we're delighted to also offer readers a unique opportunity to play a variety of games against both the magazine team - and each other," said Matt Pierce, Publisher of PC Gamer.
Jolt's CEO, Dominic Silk added: "PC Gamer is the most respected name in the games magazine sector. With a keen eye for quality, we think that it's no wonder Jolt was the first and only choice when taking this bold new commitment to its online gaming audience."
