TOKYO, Japan – July 17, 2024 – Tokyo-based publisher SHUEISHA GAMES has unveiled the new trailer for their single-player, photography-driven adventure OPUS: Prism Peak during their online showcase SHUEISHA GAMES ON! ahead of their attendance at BitSummit Drift. This marks the first global reveal of the latest trailer, along with new key visuals, screenshots, and character concept art.

 

OPUS: Prism Peak is a multi-ending adventure game where players step into the shoes of a photographer who finds himself lost in a mystical world. Using camera filters, the protagonist unravels hidden mysteries to find a way back to his world.


Capture the Moment at BitSummit Drift


OPUS: Prism Peak will be showcased at the SHUEISHA GAMES booth during BitSummit Drift, which will be held from July 19 to 21, 2024, at Miyako Messe in Kyoto.


Additionally, attendees who have wishlisted OPUS: Prism Peak and attend the booth, will be in for the chance to win an exclusive photo card featuring the game’s two main characters and a dog, which can be overlaid on different backgrounds creating the illusion that the characters are traveling through various scenes. Supplies are limited and exclusive to event attendees.

OPUS Prism Peak is the fourth entry in the award-winning OPUS series, whose signature is a unique take on narrative-driven games with a distinctive east-meets-west storytelling and art style. It blends exploration with themes of love, soul, and self-fulfillment.


Play as a photographer weary from life’s bad fortunes, stumbling into an ethereal realm while driving back to your hometown. To escape, you’ll have to confront elements from your past and learn to make peace with them through the lens of your trusty camera. OPUS: Prism Peak is a photography-driven narrative adventure where the pictures you take slowly unveil the mystery of the protagonist’s past via nostalgic rediscovery. Along the way, you’ll encounter the many spirits inhabiting this ethereal land, one of which is a mysterious young girl who knows the way out. Will you trust her, or is there a deeper mystery at play?


OPUS: Prism Peak features a beautiful, art style reminiscent of Studio Ghibli films, with its softness and warm colour palette matching the heartwarming tone that the series is known for.
