Santa Monica, Calif. – March 19, 2024 – Sky: Children of the Light’s dazzling “Days of Bloom” event is returning to the social adventure game from March 25 through April 14 in celebration of Sky’s beauty and the return of springtime. Throughout the three-week event, players can travel to Sky’s wildest lands where refreshing rain and electric lightning storms will blossom colorful flowers around the world, creating picturesque scenery for all to enjoy.

In Prairie Peaks, a serene location within Daylight Prairie, rainfall strikes during the first week of “Days of Bloom” before clear skies arrive in the last two weeks. Post-rainfall, sun-kissed Sky kids can take in the tranquil views by joining a mediation circle near the Bloom Guide to transform into jellyfish and join hundreds of fellow Sky kids, made possible by thatgamecompany’s innovative Festival Tech, and explore the landscapes from the bottom of the river to the edge of the clouds. Additionally, several picturesque locations have returned to Sky, such as Home’s majestic pink tree, where new and veteran players alike will gather to watch as its blossoms grow and fall, as well as the dunes of Forgotten Ark, which will spring back to life in a rainbow of wildflowers.

Sky kids can collect event currency through the three-week event to redeem for themed collectibles, including arum petal cape and hair, spiky spring hair and a lilypad umbrella. In the first week of “Days of Bloom,” four flower-shaped event currencies will be scattered throughout Prairie Peaks. The fifth and final event currency can only appear after players’ avatars venture into the middle of the storm and are struck by lightning. However, when clear skies arrive in the final two weeks of the event, players can find all five event currencies located in different spots around the area.

“Days of Bloom” marks yet another charming event to unfold in Sky: Children of the Light. In the enchanting realms of Sky, players engage with ancient Spirits as they embark on magnificent journeys and playful quests with friends met around the world. As Sky kids discover this mesmerizing world, they will forge emotional bonds with fellow players and express themselves through personalized avatars, tell stories through sharable content creation and more in the game’s vast universe.

Sky: Children of the Light is available to play on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5 and mobile devices, and can be wish listed and demoed now on Steam. For more details on Sky’s “Days of Bloom,” please visit thatgamecompany’s official blog, and view the new trailer.
