Bucharest, Romania, 18th November 2021 - The portal-hopping platformer adventure, Unbound: Worlds Apart, is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in February 2022! Digital versions of the game will be published by Digerati, while physical copies will also be available for PS4 and PS5, published by Perp Games.
A dark fantasy platformer developed by Alien Pixel Studios, Unbound: Worlds Apart allows you to wield the power of portals at the press of a button! Players must harness these world-altering abilities to overcome malevolent monsters, mind-boggling puzzles and stop a perilous evil from tearing reality apart.
Release dates as follows:
PS4 + PS5 digital: 9th Feb
Xbox One + Xbox Series X|S digital: 11th Feb
PS4 + PS5 physical: Coming soon after digital release
Players teleport in as Soli, a young mage with the power to open portals and control the properties of each world - such as inverse gravity, time manipulation, super strength and more. There are 10 different portals with unique mechanics to discover.
On the journey to master Soli’s ever-growing powers, players will traverse ethereal hand-drawn environments, complete quests, collect ancient lore, outmaneuver enemies and meet a cast of otherworldly characters - all while unraveling the mysterious story of Unbound: Worlds Apart.
Already available on PC and Switch, Unbound: Worlds Apart has been heralded as “an excellent Metroidvania that is a must for fans of the genre” and “a really enjoyable platformer game, with some thoughtful puzzles and a delightfully dark atmosphere”.
