Gata de Gorgos (Alicante), Spain –March 1, 2024– Independentdevelopment one-man studio Ofihombre, is releasing Randy & Manilla on itch.io, GOG and Steam in Early Access on May 10.


Randy & Manilla is a game set in the year 2142, where players explore a mysterious cyber-universe hosted by Net-Cubes, each containing virtual worlds of various genres.

 

Inspired by Wreck-It Ralph and Ready Player One, this post-apocalyptic environment is free from external threats but faces danger from the villainous Cracksom Virus, who seeks to corrupt and expand his empire to the real world. 


Randy and Manilla, aided by an urgent warning from the messaging algorithm E-Mailer, embark on a mission to save the cyber-universe from destruction, using their hidden programming and power to resist Cracksom's corruption as they journey through different Net-Cubes.

About Ofihombre

The original name of Ofihombre is Alexandre Monfort Ferrer. He was born on October 23, 1996, and lives in the village of Gata de Gorgos, Spain. The name of the studio is based in a character created by the developer in the game Spore. Since then, it has been used as a nickname on the Internet.
