VANCOUVER, Canada — March, 14 2024 — Indie publisher Chorus Worldwide and developer MidBoss LLC today announced that retro cyberpunk mystery adventure Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER releases on May 16, 2024 for PC via Steam, PlayStation®5, Xbox One (S/X Compatible) and Nintendo Switch™. Physical editions made in partnership with Serenity Forge were also announced for PlayStation®5 and Nintendo Switch™ with pre-orders for the Collector’s Editions and Standard Edition commencing today.
A follow up to the critically lauded 2064: Read Only Memories - which will be available at the new low price of $9.99 from TODAY -, this standalone adventure game brings players back to the vibrant streets of Neo-San Francisco filtered through a 16-bit gaming era lens. Boasting an all-new story, Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER introduces fans to a new cast of characters… as well as some returning favorites!
Inspired by the sharp and glossy tones generated by late 80s and early 90s FM chips found in a variety of old computers, Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER’s soundtrack will further immerse you in its retro cyberpunk world.

About Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER
Join ES88, a young esper, as she works to uncover a dark secret lurking in Neo-San Francisco. Employed by MINERVA, a powerful organization specializing in information science, neurotechnology, and extrasensory phenomena, ES88 has been tasked with tracking down the mysterious psychic entity known as Golden Butterfly, who has been hiding in and fragmenting the memories of Neo-San Francisco's citizens. Who are they? Why are they doing this? And how will you stop them?
“It’s actually coming out?!” screamed an incredulous Shintaro Kanaoya, CEO of Chorus Worldwide. “No, this is not one of Golden Butterfly’s tricks, but the final, final (we promise) release date for the long-awaited sequel. Truth be told, we wanted MidBoss to take the necessary time to craft an experience as memorable as 2064: Read Only Memories… and they have certainly delivered.”
Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER will be available for [$14.99 / €14.79 / £12.79] when it launches for PC via Steam and Epic Games, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch™ on May 16.
