Future | 13/04/05 - The force is strong in Future's Official PlayStation 2 Magazine (OPS2). Later this month the popular magazine features more exclusive first looks at games than ever before - leading with a trilogy of sizzling Star Wars scoops.
As the emperor of UK videogames titles, OPS2 offers a world exclusive first-look at Star Wars: Battlefront 2, as well as loads of screenshots and new information from the long-awaited Star Wars: Episode III game. The intergalactic frenzy is rounded off with a playable demo and definitive OPS2 review of Lego Star Wars.
Alongside the Star Wars exclusives are nine more astounding first-look previews that would turn even the most devout Jedi to the dark side. OPS2 delivers the latest news and screenshots from massive titles which are sure to keep gamers busy this Christmas. The hot titles include 007: From Russia With Love, Prince Of Persia 3, Tomb Raider: Legends and Need For Speed: Most Wanted!
The run of exclusives continues with details of Burnout 4 and Soul Calibur III, as well as brand new screenshots and insider information on the game adaptation of 24. The magazine also brings the first hands-on with God Of War - hotly tipped as an early contender for OPS2 game of the year.
Editor-in-Chief, Stephen Pierce said:
"The force is strong with this issue, making it the best OPS2 ever. We have the amazing Star Wars blow-out, which couldn't be better timed to build up excitement for the movie - as well as loads more. We have the biggest selection of first-look exclusives ever assembled in one magazine, and have covered the titles gamers really want to get their hands on. With the essential covermounted DVD, this illustrates why OPS2 is by far the best videogame magazine you can buy."
As always, the May issue of OPS2 comes with its essential monthly covermounted DVD. This month the disc is just as packed as the magazine with seven playable demos - the mighty Star Wars Lego and EA's top slugfest Fight Night Round Two, and videos including the popular Pro Evolution Soccer 4 goal of the month.
Issue 59 of Official PlayStation 2 Magazine UK is on sale, Thursday, 21 April.
