Reficul 666 Launches on Steam (PC)

Fleetwood, UK, 18^th December 2023 – Mad About Games Studios is pleased to announce that Reficul 666 has today launched for PC on Steam. After almost 3 years in Steam Early Access this atmospheric Indie Survival Horror game goes to full release.

The game is set in a small town in Northern California as darkness sweeps the world and brings a creepy new apocalyptic style which features ghosts, undead and demons in a dark new world.  This open world FPS survival horror game features a variety of weapons, magical relics, crystals, potions and other items to aid you in your quest to survive in the dark new world.

Featuring an intricate inventory system and a real time map, you must navigate the town of Nomed Springs as you search for clues and complete objectives as you progress through the game.  Light is your best friend as you find yourself alone in a dark new world.

The game has been developed using the Unreal 5 engine and makes use of some of the engine's new features such as Lumen and ray tracing.  Hints of Resident Evil and Silent hill are evident in the game as this unique Survival Horror game offers a dark and eerie atmosphere which will command your full attention all the way through the game. 
 
With an original music score composed by Roland Stuebner and procedural lightning effects really helps to bring this dark new world to life as you venture into the dark unknown. Inventory management is crucial and exploring will offer both danger and rewards as you find a variety of weapons and ancient relics to help you fight the darkness.
 
Reficul 666 has today launched for PC and is available in the Steam store.  It is played with keyboard and mouse or controller and using DX12 will demand a solid gaming rig.  The game is expected to release on consoles in late 2024 and the planned Fort Irwin DLC is planned to release in Q4 2024.
