Reshape History This Next Fest With The Grand Strategy, City Builder Kaiserpunk

[Zagreb, April 23] What would happen if countries during the World Wars made different choices? Would our history change dramatically? Would you make choices that will lead you down the same historical path we have already lived or shape things differently? This June 10th - 17th as part of Steam’s Summer Next Fest, players will be able to get their hands on Kaiserpunk for the very first time. In addition to the game’s upcoming demo Overseer Games has revealed the game’s first gameplay trailer to show players what’s in store in the upcoming Grand Strategy City Builder hybrid. In Kaiserpunk, players will be in complete control of their city-state's capital. Everything from monitoring economies, managing supply chains, making sure citizens are happy, defending from opposing forces, and engaging with over 100 regions in diplomatic talks; will have players engaged in one of the most tumultuous times in human history.

In Kaiserpunk, player choice matters. Depending on how players react as a region, the unique cause-and-effect system will set events on many branching narrative paths that will change the trajectory of the world. Be a force for good and make peace treaties with potential enemy regions or don’t and become a tyrant that takes over the world. The world’s fate is in your hands.

At its base, Kaiserpunk is a robust city builder. As a returning soldier from the frontlines, players will be starting from the ground up after coming home and seeing that their city-state was laid to waste. Resurrect your city-state by rebuilding structures and the workforce, begin producing goods to bring in resources to afford a better life for your citizens, create depots that transport goods, build military bases that include airports, and even decorate to your liking to make it feel lived in.
