Riot Games has released its latest album, Sessions: Diana - a return to the unique experience first heard earlier this year in Sessions: Vi, mixing the sounds of chill, instrumental beats made with streamers and content creators in mind.
Sessions: Diana is Riot’s continued commitment to creators — a project made to help address a small part of the copyright pains seen from creators around the world. Sessions is a series of albums that are “creator-safe”, meaning they can be streamed or used in videos while being monetized and without copyright concerns.
Sessions: Diana is being announced at The Game Awards with select tracks featured within the 2021 live broadcast. The Game Awards is expected to be co-streamed by creators around the world, making it a great venue for the Sessions launch.
Toa Dunn, head of Riot Games Music: “We made a promise over a year ago to help ease some of the pains that creators around the world feel when dealing with copyright challenges in their videos and streams. Sessions is our delivery of that promise, and we’re excited to be able to share another Sessions album with players. We hope that creators find Diana’s dreamstate vibes to be inspiring, and we can’t wait to see the album used in videos and streams.”
Sessions: Diana was developed in partnership with a large number of community artists, some of which were also featured on Sessions: Vi, including Laxcity, xander., A.L.I.S.O.N, chromonicci, and Hanz.
Sessions: Diana is the second release in the Sessions experience and contains 43 tracks, now available to listen to across major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
