RPM issue 3 Raises £10,600 on Kickstarter

Harrow, UK –29 April 2024– Due to the support of 648 backers, independent publisher of video game books and magazines, 2 Old 4 Gaming, exceeded its initial goal and raised £10,600 to fully fund the production of RPM issue 3 on Kickstarter.

Issue 3 of RPM continues the journey of retro PlayStation nostalgia, dedicated to discontinued consoles and handhelds like PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, and PSVita, featuring Resident Evil series origins and interviews with developers like Jason Wilson of MediEvil.
 

Each issue includes reviews from the PS+ Classics Catalogue and relevant discussions on current gaming news. With plans for three issues per year, the magazine promises ad-free, 72-page A5 editions, with Issue 3 completed and Issue 4 already in the works, aiming for distribution by late April 2024.

Kickstarter backers can expect digital copies upon fund clearance and physical copies shipped in May, with options for add-ons like DRM-free digital copies of previous publications and physical books.
 

International shipping is available with standard or tracked options, although customs fees may apply, and careful packaging ensures safe delivery.

Sandeep Rai, also known as “2 Old 4 Gaming” on Twitter and YouTube, is a lifelong gamer and avid fan of PlayStation's consoles, particularly the PS1 and PS Vita, which inspired him to start his YouTube channel and write multiple books about their history. His last book, "It Only Did Everything," focused on the history of the PS3. With a deep passion for PlayStation, Sandeep aims to bring that enthusiasm to the magazine, honoring the legacy of the brand.
 

Jason Maddison (@PlaySushiUK), a budding freelance graphic designer, has a strong presence in the gaming community and a keen interest in Japanese gaming. With a background in Computer Games Production and experience in pre-press work with Lock-on at Lost in Cult and design projects for various entities, including WAVE Game Studios and The SEGAGuys, Jason recently contributed to the design of Sandeep's book, "It Only Did Everything: The Unofficial Complete History of the PlayStation 3.
