SANRIO’S BELOVED CINNAMOROLL VISITS THE NEW CAFE IN SKY: CHILDREN OF THE LIGHT

Santa Monica, Calif. – April 23, 2024 – thatgamecompany’s kindhearted MMORPG Sky: Children of the Light is welcoming a special visitor, Sanrio’s beloved Cinnamoroll, to celebrate the grand opening of Sky’s brand-new cozy café in Aviary Village. Beginning on Saturday, April 27, Sky kids can join the adorable puppy bringing his expert knowledge of café management to the kingdom during this three-week collaboration.

During Cinnamoroll’s three-week stay, players can collect five different event currencies. The currencies are acquired by completing themed Daily Quests, taking gorgeous snapshots of the colorful décor and selfies with Cinnamoroll, and stopping by the café counter to try out some of the delicious pastries. Additionally, a lineup of Cinnamoroll-themed cosmetics will be offered as part of this collaboration, including cute accessories, capes, plushies, and more.

Joining in the celebration will be Cinnamoroll mega-fan and VTuber, Ironmouse, and her friend CDawgVA! The dynamic duo’s livestream of the event and meeting Cinnamoroll for the first time promises to be a sky-high experience filled with fun interactions and surprises. While Cinnamoroll departs on May 17, Sky kids can look forward to the permanent addition of the Aviary Village café where they can get a quick recharge of Light and meet new friends for the journeys to come. Players can also visit the café to visit friendly faces, greet Spirits, ask for help or team up with fellow Sky kids.

This collaboration between Sanrio and Sky is one of many wholesome events to grace the skies of thatgamecompany’s beloved social MMO. In Sky, players journey across beautiful realms and form strong bonds with players around the world as they learn compelling stories of friendly Spirits occupying the theme-park inspired world. Adventure and creativity are at the heart of this treasured game, as players come together to embark on playful quests and personalize their avatar to their heart’s content with an abundance of unique cosmetics.
