SKY: CHILDREN OF THE LIGHT CELEBRATES DIVERSE COMMUNITY IN RETURNING “DAYS OF COLOR” EVENT

Santa Monica, Calif. – June 18, 2024 – Sky: Children of the Light, thatgamecompany’s heartwarming social adventure game, celebrates making the world more inclusive for everyone with the return of “Days of Color,” the beloved MMO’s most vibrant event. For two weeks beginning on Monday, June 24, Sky kids will spread love and hope as they band together above the clouds to complete a rainbow puzzle that grows larger each day.
 
With this event, thatgamecompany is once again supporting The Trevor Project, the world’s leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people. In an effort to create a world where all LGBTQ+ young people feel safe and accepted, The Trevor Project operates robust research, provides peer support programs, and offers 24/7 crisis services, connecting highly trained counselors with LGBTQ+ young people whenever they need support.
 
Upon completing the rainbow puzzle found in the spacious area above Daylight Prairie Village, players receive a new “Days of Color” feature boosting Sky kids’ need for speed. Rainbow-shaped event currency will also be located around the area and granted to players after finishing the puzzle, which can be used to unlock brand-new cosmetics such as a colorful glam cut hairstyle and a stylish rainbow mask.
 
The annual “Days of Color” is one of many wholesome events to unfold in Sky’s breathtaking world. In Sky: Children of the Light, players embark on various adventures through light-hearted quests and learn the compelling stories of Spirits met along the way. At the heart of Sky is creating genuine connections and friendships with fellow players and embracing creative elements such as avatar personalization and sharable content creation, all in Sky’s expansive kingdom above the clouds.
