South Pole Bebop: A Turn-Based Strategy Game Inspired by Into The Breach to Debut at Major Gaming Events

San Francisco, CA – March 17, 2024 – Sentience Inc. is thrilled to announce the upcoming debut of their highly anticipated turn-based strategy game, South Pole Bebop, at this year's GDC (Game Developers Conference), GCA (Game Connection America), PGConnects (Pocket Gamer Connects), and other major annual gaming events, including CourageXL, Courage On Tour, in San Francisco throughout March.
Drawing inspiration from the critically acclaimed title Into The Breach, South Pole Bebop introduces a unique twist with its innovative deckbuilding and PvPvE (Player versus Player versus Environment) features. Players will have the opportunity to experience intense strategic gameplay where every decision counts. South Pole Bebop will be available on Steam.
Key features of South Pole Bebop:
to win, players must eliminate all opponent's characters or bases on a 9-by-9 board
Unique Characters: players choose three characters native to the South Pole, each belonging to one of three character classes: artillery, melee, and range
these undead threats attack both players and bases. Zombies can obstruct spawns and respawn throughout the game. Players can manipulate zombies to target their opponent's characters and bases
before each match, players customise their deck of characters and ability cards, which strengthen characters and bases. Players purchase cards from selected decks using cores.
Hyemin Kwon, VP of Sentience Game Studio, said, “We are planning events for players and upcoming playtests, and we are happy to be able to meet North American users through GDC before that.” She added, “It is receiving a lot of attention from enthusiasts at overseas game shows.” South Pole Bebop's Steam page and Twitter are receiving positive responses from users.

Early Access for South Pole Bebop is scheduled to be available on PC in June.
