February 13 - Strap in, space slugs! The galaxy is calling, and riches beyond your wildest holo-screen dreams are within reach. Rally your crew, fire up your engines, and prepare to scavenge the stars as you chase the ultimate prize: profit - in the updated demo for Airlock Arena, the roguelike sci-fi frenzy from Frostbane Studios.
Playing solo or with up to three friends, take on the frequently ill-fated mantle of a space smuggler as you navigate procedurally generated levels, battle waves of menacing aliens, and overcome increasingly ludicrous random events, all whilst scavenging for valuable loot amid the carnage.
Launching just in time for Steam Next Fest, the new demo increases the mission count to three, which allows players to experience even more of the chaotic galaxy of Airlock Arena than before.

Finding yourself in situations steeped in blue-collar sci-fi nostalgia, high adventure and thrilling peril, your drive to make an honest space buck may well find you needing to fend off rogue planets while stuffing the body of an unlucky crewmate into your ship’s engine — all in a day’s work as a spacefaring outlaw.
Inspired by games such as Spelunky and FTL with a hefty dose of action, Airlock Arena promises emergent storytelling alongside frenetic real-time chaos for up to four players (who can all play together using just one copy of the game thanks to Steam RemotePlay). As you embark on your smuggling journey, you'll encounter a variety of contract objectives, from cargo acquisition and delivery, to rescue missions and artifact theft.
You’ll have to contend with more than the pitiless void of space and laser-happy robots in Airlock Arena. Simulated vacuum physics can doom or save you depending on your strategy. Plus, armed with a variety of tools, including the bolt pistol, energy blade, grapple beam, jetpack, and repair beam, you'll have the means to survive the suck…or not.
Airlock Arena is receiving a brand new demo this Next Fest, with the full release landing in March 17, 2025.
