Strange Scaffold :

El Paso, TX – July 16, 2024 – Developer Strange Scaffold (El Paso, Elsewhere, Life Eater, and I Am Your Beast) and newly-formed indie fund Outersloth are proud to release their story-driven game CLICKOLDING today on Steam for PC for $2.99.

CLICKOLDING Launch Trailer: https://youtu.be/V62f-PsKhyY

This dark, first-person incremental narrative game tasks players with thumbing a tally counter at the whims of the potentially dangerous masked host in the corner of their hotel room. Unravel a distressing story one click at a time in a lush, noir-tinged environment, and witness a thoughtfully uncomfortable and shifting atmosphere come to life. Clicking, solving environmental conversation puzzles, and navigating a tenuous and uncertain relationship are the subtle ingredients that make CLICKOLDING more than just a suggestive pun.

Key Features

  • Polished, mature, one-sitting storytelling from the developers behind Life Eater and El Paso, Elsewhere.

  • A surreal encounter with the Original Clickold in a land beyond space and thought.

  • Weird jazz from award-winning composer RJ Lake (Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, Unbeatable).

  • A locked bathroom door.
