The popular strategy-focused digital convention returns, and it wants YOUR strategy games!

December 9, 2024 - Hooded Horse and Firesquid are inviting developers to submit their projects for TactiCon 2025, the digital convention that celebrates strategy games of all kinds! Returning in the summer of 2025, the next edition of TactiCon will once again feature discounts on the latest and greatest strategy games, demos of exciting upcoming projects, and a showcase packed with news, announcements, and panels.
Developers can submit their projects and/or exclusive announcements via this form. For a game to be eligible for the event, it must meet the following criteria:
The game has a live Steam page at the time of submission.
The game is a strategy game and has tags related to this genre.
At least one of the following statements is true:
The game released – either into 1.0 or into Steam Early Access – after June 30, 2024.
The game (either in early access or 1.0) has had a major DLC or game update since June 30, 2024.
If it’s an upcoming game, it will have a playable demo ready in time for the start of the event (Summer 2025).
The deadline for submission is 22:00 PST on January 31, 2025, and submission results will be communicated no later than February 28, 2025. The event is expected to run in July 2025, but confirmed details will be communicated at a later date.
Fun facts about TactiCon 2024 include:
Over 2,300,000 unique visitors to the event page, up 600,000 from last year
An average of ~8,000 wishlists gained across 107 participating titles, along with over 2000 demo downloads
Eleven expertly run panels and talks, with the schedule at large attracting over 8,000 viewers.
