The Hayseed Knight :

After seven years in development, the fifth and last chapter of the critically acclaimed visual novel The Hayseed Knight will be finally released on Steam at the end of the month, on the 29th of February 2024!

Chapter 5's release update will include 6 new hours of fully voice-acted content, alongside a yet to be released animated intro, updated art and music, rewritten scenes in early chapters, and different choice-based endings and epilogues, for a total average of 20+hours of gameplay!

The full game release was announced during The Storyteller's Festival, alongside a small price increase to reflect the end of the game's development period and the increased amount of content. The current 20% discount for the duration of the festival will be the last chance to get The Hayseed Knight discounted at the original release price of 14'99 USD.

The author:

Sandra “Maxi” Molina Juan is a Spanish trans masc freelance Game Director, Voice Director, Art Director, 2D Artist, Writer, Translator and retired comic book colorist with over 10 years of experience working across different artistic industries.

Previous clients include major companies such as Blizzard, DC Comics and Dark Horse, as well as a wealth of indie companies such as Hibernian Workshop, Grimorio of Games and Strange Scaffold.

Maxi has been making THK primarily on their own for the last seven years, from art to writing, animations, programming, voiceover direction and occasional sound design and voice acting as well.

Full team:

Most of the external collaborations have been done with musicians and consultants, and they're all credited in-game, no matter the duration of their work.

The only recurring staff other than the French and Japanese translator is the voiceover cast, and it includes and has always welcomed voice actors of all levels of experience.
