The Mahjong Soul x Blue Archive Collaboration Is Now Officially Live!

April 17, 2024 - Shanghai, China - The collaboration event between Mahjong Soul and Blue Archive has officially begun! Developed by NEXON GAMES, Blue Archive is a fantastic Sub-culture RPG mobile game. With the latest update, the Mahjong Soul players will be treated to four exclusive collaboration characters, unique collaboration outfits, and limited-time collaborative decorations! Participation in the collaboration event also offers the chance to obtain generous event rewards.

New Limited-time Collaboration Event
All players are cordially invited to join the collaboration event—School Fes Frenzy! The event will feature the introduction of a new match mode, Soul Punch, as well as a time-limited story. This new gameplay breaks away from traditional mahjong mechanics. Upon declaring Riichi, players will consecutively discard six tiles until they draw a winning tile or another player makes a call on the discarded tile (including Ron), making the call for Riichi even more exciting!
This event will be available for a limited time from April 16th to May 7th, 2024 (UTC-7). Participate in ranked matches or Soul Punch matches to earn event tokens and receive event rewards!

New Collaboration Characters
Four girls from the Blue Archive, unexpectedly find themselves in the world of Mahjong Soul, embarking on a delightful encounter with the denizens of the Mahjong Soul Shrine. Shiroko is the sporty field captain of the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force. A girl of few words and almost no facial expression, Shiroko gives the impression of being frigid and emotionless. In truth, she is more devoted to the Abydos High School than anything else. Hoshino, the Abydos Student Council vice president and president of the Foreclosure Task Force. Acts more like a tired old timer and would rather play pranks than do actual work. This often gets her into trouble with her fellow task force members, but once on a mission, she fights harder on the front lines than anyone else to keep her friends safe. Aru, self-proclaimed boss of Problem Solver 68. She expanded the Gehenna Academy's Problem Solver 68 club without permission to conduct illegal business activities. She aspires to be seen as a dashing and debonair villain, but her frequent blunders always expose her as a poser. Mutsuki, Problem Solver 68's resident go-getter and chief of staff. Unlike Aru, who has a semblance of a conscience, Mutsuki is a devilish troublemaker who relishes in committing acts of mayhem. As one of her oldest friends, Mutsuki understands Aru's bravado best, even if she doesn't exactly always play along. 
 
New Collaboration Outfits & Decorations
During the event, the shop is also introducing a limited-time collaboration series of outfits for the four collaboration characters, known as The Flowery Charms Series. Don't miss the chance to dress the girls of Blue Archive in elegant qipao! Additionally, players have the opportunity to acquire limited-time collaboration decorations through the character pool, which includes Winning, Riichi, Riichi Bet, Tile Back, and Tablecloth.
