THE NEW DENPA MEN™ Launches on Nintendo eShop Today!

Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan - July  22, 2024 - GeniusSonority Inc. announces the release of their new game, THE NEW DENPA MEN™, a free download game. The title will be available for download on Nintendo eShop today.

Game Overview
This new title is the latest in THE 'DENPA' MEN series, in which you catch “DENPA MEN” flying around for your party to use on your adventures. In addition to RPG elements such as adventures and character growth, the game offers the familiar elements of the series, such as an island decoration feature, fishing, and competing against other players' DENPA MEN. New features include the first cooperative play mode in the series called “Together Catch,” and a “Voucher” collector mode, in which you can collect “Vouchers” dropped by monsters.

It is a free to play game with additional content available for purchase. 


Game Feature

DENPA MEN are little creatures born from the radio waves flying around you. You can find them, catch them, and become friends with them through “DENPA MEN Catch”.
The “Offline Catch” feature allows you to catch them even when you are offline!
 

The color of the DENPA MEN indicates resistance to enemy attacks. A DENPA MEN with an antenna on his head can use special moves.
 

Different equipment increases resistance to enemy attacks, provides special effects, and changes DENPA MEN appearance.
 

Battles take place with simple controls and quick progression.
 

Various items can be placed and decorated on “My Island,” the base of your adventure, and in the radio-controlled houses on the island.
 

At the Denpa Men Box, you can communicate with the DENPA MEN. Talking to them or giving them gifts may increase their happiness level.
 

You may see fish in the sea around the island. If you obtain a fishing rod and bait, you can enjoy fishing.
 

Together Catch is a feature allowing you to catch DENPA MEN with up to four players playing nearby. The more participants, the easier it is to find rare radio humans. Together Catch can also be enjoyed in offline mode called Offline Catch.
 

This is a mode that allows you to collect “Vouchers” dropped by monsters at the end of battles. You will be rewarded when you finish collecting a group of vouchers. Vouchers can also be given as gifts to friends or used in battle. When you use vouchers in battle, you can summon monsters. The summoned monsters can attack enemies or heal companions.

The first title in THE 'DENPA' MEN series was first released in 2012. A total of four titles have been released for the Nintendo 3DS™ and one for mobile platforms. THE NEW DENPA MEN title is the latest in the series after a 10-year release absence on Nintendo platforms.
