Global publisher and distributor SelectaPlay is thrilled to announce that the highly anticipated physical boxed Blasphemous 2 Collector’s Edition launches today across European and North American specialist retailers on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X.

 

Developed by The Game Kitchen and published by Team17, Blasphemous 2 is a metroidvania game that continues the story of the 'Wounds of Eventide' DLC from the first game, expanding the story of The Penitent One and its universe through interactions with new characters and items found in the world. Players explore a vast, interconnected environment filled with grotesque enemies and platforming challenges in a unique pixel art style. The game mixes intense action with deep exploration and challenges that require skills in both combat and navigating its labyrinthine environment, creating an evocative and immersive experience.
 


 

As well as the full version of Blasphemous 2 on console, the Collector’s Edition will include a Steelbook case with exclusive artwork, a printed instruction manual created by the developers along with a thank you letter from the Game Kitchen team, a Mark of Martyrdom metal coin, three art cards with new illustrations, two CD’s of music composed by Carlos Viola along with a collector’s CD cover with code to download the digital soundtrack, a printed game guide with over 60 pages, a beautiful album of illustrations and a certificate of authenticity all housed in a specially created premium finish collector’s box
