Limerick, Republic of Ireland, December 4, 2024 - Ireland-based Zenland Games is excited to share its new game Ekoh Beach, a life sim with a unique sci-fi twist. Set to launch on PC on April 4th, Ekoh Beach invites players to take charge and help rebuild a broken town on a distant planet into the bustling home of their dreams.
Embark on an adventure across the galaxy to the isolated planet of Ekoh 99 as its new town planner. Following a disastrous robot rebellion, which left the once technologically advanced planet a shell of its former self, and the mysterious disappearance of the brilliant quantum scientist Dr Terra, it’s up to you to rebuild the town and uncover the truth behind what happened on Ekoh Beach the day the robots invaded.
Make new friends, bring life back to Ekoh 99, and dig into the secrets hidden deep beneath the town as you strive to restore it to its high-tech heyday. Explore the mines, beaches, and forests as you gather resources and harvest materials in the quest to rebuild. Wield tools such as the Z-Cleaner to scoop up mineral-rich particles from sand and the Terra-Scan, used to harvest ‘fusiony’ materials. With a vibrant and unique tropical science fiction art style, Ekoh Beach blends the futuristic and the tropical with a strong sense of humour.
Players can make both their character and the town their own by painting houses, planting seasonal-enhanced flowers, and trying out different hairstyles and T-shirts. Players aren’t limited to customising their own character and can even give the gift of a haircut to the planet's residents, which will permanently and irreversibly change their appearance.

About Zenland:
Zenland Games is an Irish game development company predominantly based in Limerick, Republic of Ireland. The studio was founded in 2020 by Dr Damien Mac Namara who, with the help of experienced game developer friends, began working on the studio’s first game, Ekoh Beach. Zenland expanded to Sweden in 2022, following acceptance into an incubator program, where its lead artist and technical artist have been based for the last two years.
