Ready for an all-new open road experience in Truck Driver: The American Dream? SOEDESCO is thrilled to announce that the Freedom-to-Roam and Christmas on 18 Wheels free update is rolling out today for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, showcasing our consistent dedication to delivering new experiences to our players.



This update was made as part of PS5 Patch #9 – 0.9.7.1 and Xbox Series X|S Patch #3 – 0.9.7.1 
 

Freedom-to-Roam 

Take a break from the main action 

Unload your cargo and soak in breathtaking panoramic vistas with the new Freedom-to-Roam mode. This feature offers the perfect escape for those seeking a more laidback truck driving experience, providing an unstructured way of playing Truck Driver: The American Dream.

More hours of gameplay 

With the Freedom-to-Roam update, players will have access to new job opportunities they can take on whenever they like, gaining experience and advancing in the trucking world on their own terms. Every town, city, gas station, and rest stop will present randomly generated missions of varying difficulties, sending players to deliver cargo across the map.  

Unlock new trucks 

As players complete missions in Freedom-to-Roam mode, they will accumulate money, gain experience, and level up. Upon reaching specific levels, players will unlock new trucks, giving them the chance to try out all trucks available in the story mode.

Christmas on 18 Wheels

Father Christmas is here

Join in the Holiday celebration on a festive and glowing 18-wheeler Christmas truck and take on the role of Santa Claus, delivering delightful presents across the snowy landscape. Embark on a new storyline as the cheeky Santa, completing gift delivery jobs from the lovely Snow White. Get into the spirit of Christmas as you drive around the State of New York that has been given a frosty Winter Wonderland makeover.
