SAN DIEGO, CA – December 14, 2023 - Today, Victrix, a San Diego based professional gaming accessories brand owned by PDP, has announced that its best-selling, premium Esports controller, the Pro BFG™ Wireless Controller, will be coming to Xbox consoles in February 2024. The Pro BFG was originally announced in October of last year for PC and other consoles, and quickly became the top-selling controller in that market.
In early 2024, gamers will be able to get their hands on the award-winning, officially licensed controller specifically for Xbox and PC. Players can get a first look at this new Xbox controller at the Victrix booth in the FGC Area at Dreamhack Atlanta, taking place December 15-17 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Pre-orders will be available in January on victrixpro.com for an MSRP of $179.99 USD.
For those Hall Effect fans, a technology that eliminates stick drift, Victrix will sell separately, Hall Effect Stick Modules available for purchase for both PlayStation and Xbox versions in early 2024.
Engineered from the ground up by Victrix and designed for e-sports, the Xbox Pro BFG Wireless Controller offers a number of features and options including:
Full Wireless and Wired Compatibility: The Pro BFG can connect to devices via Bluetooth, the provided wireless USB dongle, or a wired connection. Pro BFG is compatible with Xbox consoles, PC, mobile iOS and Android devices, supported Smart TVs, Mac and most cloud streaming services.
Modularity: The reversible left module allows for standard Xbox offset sticks or for both sticks to be in the middle. Fans of fighting games can swap in the Fight Pad module, which replaces the right stick with six microswitch buttons. The D-Pad, Analog Stick Caps, and Analog Stick Gates are also interchangeable.
Four Mappable Back Buttons with User-Configurable Profiles: Players can map the back buttons on the fly with the Profile Button, and save up to 3 unique profiles for button mappings.
Patented Multi-Position Clutch Triggers™: Featuring Hall Effect technology and boasting 5 different stopping points, the patented clutch triggers allow players to tune the trigger pulls to their specific liking, whether they want hair triggers, standard triggers, or something in the middle.
Low Latency Audio with Built-in Dolby Atmos Lifetime Subscription: The Pro BFG delivers the highest possible audio quality through the controller’s 3.5mm headset jack featuring built-in Dolby Atmos with a lifetime subscription ($15 value) for spatial surround sound while gaming.
Victrix Control Hub Customization Xbox App: Players can make their controller as unique as their playstyle with the free Victrix Control Hub App for Xbox and PC. Through the app, players can configure buttons and EQ settings to fit their play style, run diagnostics, and update the controller’s firmware all in one place. To avoid stick drift, the Control Hub also allows players to recalibrate their analog sticks, which can also be done manually without the app.
