VR Authentic JRPG “SOUL COVENANT” Set to Launch April 18, with Pre-Orders Starting March 21

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – March 21, 2024 –Thirdverse, a leading VR developer and publisher, today announced that its multiplayer VR Narrative Action JRPG, SOUL COVENANT, will launch on April 18, 2024. Developed by the core team behind the beloved Japanese favorite Action RPG, SOUL SACRIFICE, players will be able to embark on an unforgettable journey into the heart of a post-apocalyptic Tokyo in this VR expansion of the franchise. SOUL COVENANT will be available to play on Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 2, PSVR2, and PCVR platforms for $39.99, and pre-orders with a 10% discount will open March 21.

SOUL COVENANT invites players to delve into a deeply emotional narrative, set against the backdrop of a ravaged Tokyo, humanity's last bastion against the relentless onslaught of an AI-led genocidal army known as "Deus Ex Machina." About Teruyuki Toriyama, Executive Producer of SOUL COVENANT at Thirdverse

After working as a planner and director at major developers and publishers, he joined Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. After that he joined Japan Studio and worked as a producer, planning and producing PlayStation software in collaboration with external developers and internal game creators. His representative works include titles like "SOUL SACRIFICE" and "SOUL SACRIFICE DELTA" for PS Vita, "Bloodborne" and "Bloodborne: The Old Hunters" for PS4, "ASTRO BOT: RESCUE MISSION" and "Déraciné" for PS VR and PS5 launch title "Demon's Souls".
