EARLY ACCESS DEVELOPMENT

The development path of Gunsmith Simulator has evolved gradually, starting from adding iconic pistols such as the Glock 17 and M1 Garand. The next update enriched the arsenal with the Mauser C96. The third update brought diversity of wood species and new processes such as checkering and staining. The fourth update introduced performance improvements and mod support through Steam Workshop (stickers and patterns). Additionally, the M4 weapon was expanded, which is currently the most advanced weapon in the game with the most modifications. Furthermore, the ability to assemble your own weapon from scratch, with loose parts, was introduced, adding a new dimension of customization and player engagement in the process of creating their perfect armament.

LATEST UPDATE

The latest update adds two brand-new weapons to the collection: the STG 44 (a pioneer among intermediate cartridge automatic rifles introduced into armament) and the MAC-10 (an American submachine gun from the 1960s symbolizing rapid-fire capability and versatility). A new optics settings mechanic has also been added to improve weapon accuracy, ensuring precise and effective shots. Now, after mounting a scope or red dot sight to the weapon, players have the option to choose between simple installation in the workshop or the option of tuning the optics at the shooting range. Additionally, a special task has been prepared, where virtual gunsmiths can test their skills in assembling and disassembling weapons against the clock.

But that's not all! The team is already announcing the introduction of more new weapons along with additional mechanics. Developers are constantly working on their development, and each day brings them closer to the Early Access release. More details coming soon!
