WILD RIFT CELEBRATES RAMADAN WITH “TOGETHER UNDER THE CRESCENT” IN-GAME EVENT

Starting today, players around the world can join the celebration, which features an all-new limited-time game mode, unique minigames, goodies and more!

  As Ramadan begins around the world, this year Wild Rift is bringing the celebration in-game. From March 8 to April 10, players will have a variety of ways to celebrate Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr in-game, beginning with a special minigame, “Wake up, Poro!” which follows a poro waking up their friends in time for Sahur, and the start of daily log-in rewards that span the entire event.   From March 8 to March 22, players can enjoy a brand new game mode: Double Cast! In Double Cast, champions have specific timing windows in which their ability cooldowns fully refresh. Champions that rely on basic attacks more than abilities will have their attacks count as a double hit every so often, applying the effects of their basic attacks twice. Certain aspects of the game have been adjusted, including the durability of minions, neutral objectives and turrets, to keep the fast-paced flow of the match. Double Cast is a gloves-off battle mode perfect for players seeking an all-new, action-packed way to play on the Rift.    Later in the month, players can look forward to collecting special themed rewards alongside their friends, including a bauble and Recall effect, icons and borders, and emotes. Between the festivities and goodies, there’s plenty of ways to celebrate Ramadan culture and heritage!
