NICOSIA, Cyprus, December 4, 2024 — Wishlist Games proudly announces the successful transition of World War 3 from MY.GAMES to its new home under the Wishlist Games banner. The 4 Winds Entertainment remains the co-publisher of World War 3 for Turkey and the Arab countries of the Middle East and North Africa. This milestone marks the start of a new chapter for the game, paving the way for future updates and exciting developments.
A CHALLENGING TRANSITION, A FRESH START
The transition wasn’t just technical—it was a full-scale effort to take control of World War 3 and prepare it for the future. Over the past 11 months, the team has worked tirelessly to rebuild the game’s systems while preserving every player’s progress.
“This has been a massive undertaking. We had to resolve complex technical challenges and prepare the game for this transition. It took time, but it was necessary to give World War 3 the strong foundation it needs to grow,” said Wishlist Games CEO Alexey Larionov.
ACCOUNT TRANSFER: WHAT PLAYERS NEED TO KNOW
With the transition complete, World War 3 is now available exclusively on Steam and the Wishlist Games Launcher.

LAYING THE GROUNDWORK FOR THE FUTURE
The transition includes several key improvements:
The game is now distributed via Steam CDN.
The game size was reduced from 116 GB to 92 GB.
New Anti-Cheat implemented: Easy Anti-Cheat.
Reworked game sounds and directional sounds: footsteps, gunshots.
Overhauled vehicle physics: Land vehicles now behave more realistically and don't get stuck as easily.
Improved performance on Moscow and Berlin maps.
Optimization of game assets: maps, props, lighting, textures, meshes.
Slightly improved 3rd person animations in the game.
WHAT'S NEXT?
With full control of the game, Wishlist Games is already developing new features and content. This transition is just the beginning of a faster, more responsive development cycle.
