Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Demo will clearly be falling into our laps during Steam's next thing.

MacOS support dropped
After several unsuccessful tests on MacOS I decided to not release the game for this operating system. Since I don't own an Apple system myself and would not be able to track down errors and give technical support it would be irresponsible to do so. My motto is: Better not to offer the game on a system at all than to disappoint the players and not even be able to help them if they encounter a technical problem. More on this in this blog post: https://www.mac-bs.de/public/post/wormventures/wormventures-macos-support-dropped/
Demo version released
In preparation for the Steam Next Fest the Demo version of the game is out on Steam now. It features the first 1.5 chapters of the game and is available for Windows and Linux. The play time should be around one hour. I'm still looking for a DRM-free solution for the Demo to be downloaded. Unfortunately it is too big for itch.io. More information and the development blog can be found on the official Wormventures - Barrier 51 Homepage.
