Zenless Zone Zero Ignites the US with Immersive Launch Spectacles

July 19th, 2024, Singapore — Celebrating the global launch of the urban fantasy ARPG Zenless Zone Zero, global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse ignited the US with a series of spectacular launch events in July. The "Hollow Sighting" exhibition popped up in New York City while 1,000 dazzling drones in Los Angeles lit up the sky. Besides, the "ZENLESS" mural pop-up presented by Gian Galang will continue to spread the vibrant vibe of New Eridu at Venice Beach. By bringing the urban fantasy world of New Eridu to life, Zenless Zone Zero is celebrating its global debut together with Proxies in the US.

From July 12th to July 13th, a colossal Hollow with built-in 360° panorama projection appeared out of thin air in New York City. The "Hollow Sighting" event at The Oculus Center invited Proxies as eager recruits of the Hollow Investigative Association to step into the portal and embark on an immersive adventure. These Proxies invested 205 hours venturing into the Hollow, collecting 88,050 units of Ether Energy, and capturing immortalized moments with Ben Bigger's statue, cosplayers portraying HIA staff, Belle, and Wise. Beyond safeguarding the city, the Proxies also obtained limited edition merchandise and enjoyed their time in the Hollow where curiosity and danger intertwined.

Waving to the Hollow Sighting on the East Coast, Santa Monica Pier welcomed New Eridu with open arms. The night sky was brightened by a mesmerizing 8-minute performance conducted by 1,000 drones with over 10,000 audiences on July 13th. Besides the drone show, the event also pulsed with energy, featuring a series of activities where attendees interacted with cosplayers, and snapped photos with the Cunning Hares Car, and an adorable Bangboo Balloon in this remarkable show. Some of the attendees also obtained game merchandise.

Moreover, Zenless Zone Zero presented a striking mural pop-up collaborating with artist and illustrator Gian Galang. The “ZENLESS" Mural Pop spotlights beloved characters Ellen Joe, Billy Kid, and Von Lycaon in dynamic movements with bold colors and energetic strokes. Proxies are welcome to visit and capture a glance at the game's unique aesthetic until July 28th at Venice Beach.

The launch events across the US were not only a dazzling display of Zenless Zone Zero's stylish aesthetics and adventurous vibe but also a cordial invitation for Proxies to immerse themselves in the essence of New Eridu. By reproducing the game's unique art style and electrifying atmosphere in reality, all Proxies are encouraged to embrace the game's ethos both on and off screen.

Since its global launch on July 4th (UTC +8) across PlayStation®5, PC, iOS, and Android, Zenless Zone Zero has surpassed 50 million downloads globally. The game has been rated Teen by the ESRB and is also classified as PEGI 12.
