I'm wondering where the bridge between film creation and game design lies. It's not uncommon now days to see the theatrical version of your favorite game released along side or shortly after its creation. That being said, the street can go both ways. I've seen many a time when a game is released just before or during the release of the film it was based off of. Knowing that game creation and film creation go hand and hand for most of there projects. I'm wondering how difficult it would be for a Film major to break into the game development world? Are there any jobs within the two worlds that coincide with each other or are similar in anyway? If so, how would one go about applying for such work and get experience in the industry?
