Hansoft says it's strengthened its pipeline management services with the hire of EA Sports veteran Chris Wynn as senior production expert. The company works with developers implementing its workflow tools on using Hansoft for project management and agile development, and Wynn will head up the company's efforts to help clients better use Hansoft tools. A 12-year industry veteran, Wynn began as an artist but grew into production roles, notably spending six years with EA on the Madden NFL franchise prior to joining Hansoft. "I’m thrilled to join Hansoft, an industry leader in tools and production thinking," said Wynn. "Hansoft clients are making some truly great games and to be able to work with them is a great privilege." Hansoft also announced the launch of its Certified Trainer program, which will allow independent consultants to earn certification in the company's workflow management tools and methods. "Sometimes we do onsite productivity consulting, to share production best practices and help studios scaling agile and lean methodologies to the size and specifics of games development," explains Hansoft CEO Patric Palm. "To meet the growing interest for these more advanced consulting services, we are now increasing our capacity, and since we want to stay a tools vendor and not become a consulting company, we started the Hansoft Certified Trainer program."
