Hansoft has launched Hansoft 6.5, the latest version of its project development tool set that the company said adds features to help simplify global collaboration in game development. New features in version 6.5 include localization for Japanese and Chinese users, better support for outsourcing and distributed collaboration and other additions. Hans Andersson, chief development officer for Uppsala, Sweden-based Hansoft said the update makes collaboration on graphical work "more visual with the new ability to include and do mark-ups on images in discussion threads. This makes both distributed and outsourced work easier.” Hansoft is a solution for team management that includes features for scheduling, real-time reporting, bug-tracking and other components of software development. A list of new features can be viewed at Hansoft's website. Andersson added, "We have noticed a rapidly growing interest in Japan and China for the increased team efficiency Hansoft can bring. ... We will also offer technical support by e-mail in Japanese and Chinese."
