Environmental Artist, Imangi Studios

Location: Raleigh, NC Ready to jump in, help build a company, and help launch Imangi’s next hit title? If you are creative, self motivated, can build and texture awe inspiring environments, and have a passion for creating games then we are looking for you! Imangi Studios is seeking an expert to mid-range artist with solid modeling, texturing, and lighting skills for environments and prop work. Responsibilities Creation of 3D props and environment set pieces optimized for real-time games using 3D Studio Max or Maya. Creation of seamless textures and texture atlas work. Placement, light baking and setup using Unity. Material and basic shader setup. Pro-active collaboration with team members designing and creating games. Requirements Experience with 3D Studio Max or Maya. Working knowledge of techniques for achieving high fidelity assets within a limited performance budget is required. Previous game creation experience is desired and knowledge with iOS and Android is a plus. Pluses Some experience with effects and animation skills are a plus.
