A talented artist, Johnson began his career at LucasArts, where he served as a 3D modeller on Star Wars: Starfighter, and created art for its follow-up, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter.

Veteran artist and technical director, Clarence Johnson, has passed away. 

Early in his career Johnson set up shop at LucasArts, where he served as a 3D modeler on Star Wars: Starfighter, and created art for its follow-up, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter

More recently, Johnson helped animate The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, and prior to that worked on the well-received Ghostbusters: The Video Game as environment technical director. 

Johnson's other credits include Golden Axe: Beast Rider, Iron Man, Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds, and There

News of his passing was broken on We Are Game Devs, which has since been flooded with messages celebrating his life.
