More recently, Johnson helped animate The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, and prior to that worked on the well-received Ghostbusters: The Video Game as environment technical director.
Johnson's other credits include Golden Axe: Beast Rider, Iron Man, Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds, and There.
News of his passing was broken on We Are Game Devs, which has since been flooded with messages celebrating his life.
